We’ve heard you have a HUGE update in the making, can you tell us more?
Sure! This last year we’ve been working hard to ensure that Star Stable will get a more fluent graphic style that will be kept throughout the entire game. We want you as a player to feel like you are still in Jorvik, no matter where you go in the game. What we’ve been working on to get us closer to our goal is a graphic update of Moorland and Silverglade!
What does that mean?
We've started out in Moorland and re-painted all the ground textures (like the grass and the paths), modeled brand new trees, bushes, and rocks, while also updating the terrain around the area. This will make Moorland easier, prettier, and more fun to explore! To make sure everything looks coherent, we’re also updating the plants and rocks around the entire Silverglade area, which will lift your gaming experience to a completely new level when you journey through the Firgrove woods or the Silverglade fields. The difference will be very noticeable – not everything, but a lot, will get a new look! Even the Jorvik sky will be updated, and of course you’ll see that no matter where you are in the game.
Of course our next question is WHEN IS IT DONE?
Haha, you need to hold on! We still have a lot of work to go, but we wanted to start sharing information at this stage so our players know what we’re working on. It will be released before the end of the year, but we can’t tell you a more exact date right now.
